Arsenal FC shop raided by moped thieves who broke into the Emirate’s stadium and stole ‘large quantity’ of footie merc
THIEVES raided Arsenal’s club shop last night using mopeds and a car to steal a “large quantity” of football merchandise.
Police were called to the Emirates Stadium late last night following reports of a burglary.
A picture from the scene shows the front door of the Premier League club’s shop completely smashed in.
@Lord_Collins wrote: “Looks like someone used a car to break into the Arsenal shop last night.”
Thieves smashed their way in through the front of store and raided kits and other merchandise.
Police confirmed a crime scene remains in place and that a “large quantity” of goods had been taken.
The Gunners appear to be facing a crisis on the pitch too after losing two matches just three games into the new season.
The team suffered a humiliating defeat to Liverpool two days before the raid on Sunday
