SCOTT MILLS has split from his long-term love Brad Harris – but the airwaves won’t be filled with heartbreak ballads just yet.
While I can reveal the Radio 1 DJ secretly ended his three-year romance with the shop manager last year, I can also confirm he has bounced back with a new boyfriend.
New man Sam Vaughan, from Bridgend, Wales, is also a radio presenter, working for Cardiff-based Nation Radio.
So although it’s a long-distance relationship, at least they can keep each other company over the airwaves when driving between London and Wales.
A source said: “It’s early days but Scott and Sam are really enjoying each other’s company and are travelling across the country to see each other whenever they can.
“Scott has always had a thing for the Welsh and they hit it off after being introduced by mutual pals after he quietly split from Brad last year.
“They have been dating properly for about three months and bonded over their jobs and their love for running.
“Scott spent last weekend in Cardiff supporting Sam do a 10k run for a kidney charity.
“And they are training together at the moment to help Scott prepare for his half-marathon for the MS Society in London next month.
“They have tons in common and he is really ex-cited about where this could go.”
Scott’s hot new romance may come as a surprise seeing as the last time he spoke of his love life he told how he was planning to tie the knot with Brad in an elaborate ceremony.
But I hear that things fizzled out after Radio 1’s Big Weekend in Exeter in May last year.
