CONOR McGREGOR is in talks to make a one-off special appearance on the WWE, SunSport can exclusively reveal.
The UFC lightweight champion is taking time off after losing his moneyspinning debut pro boxing bout to Floyd Mayweather in August.

However, the Irish Sun has learned the Dublin bruiser is in talks to get back into the ring for a megabucks wrestling match against one of World Wrestling Entertainment’s biggest stars.
Crumlin fighter Conor, 29, is a long-time fan of wrestling and has even adopted WWE promoter Vince McMahon’s infamous ­‘billionaire strut’ when he enters the UFC Octagon.
SunSport understands that a deal is close with WWE top brass but the match is likely to be delayed until next year — with a possibility of him appearing in April’s Wrestlemania event.
A source said: “Conor is a huge wrestling fan. His entire persona on stage he has developed from watching performers like Ric Flair and The Rock.

“These are the top dogs at self-promotion and trash talk. He watched these guys when he was younger.
